My advice is to read over the directions a few times, pick out an image or two that suits you and work slowly.

I am an artist and had a number of my own images in mind. I chose a couple of them, both of them fairly simple line drawings.

I wanted to see how well the tool worked on glass. And I have to say it worked very, very well. I was pleasantly surprised at my first attempt shown below.
